The Fira de la Sardina Palma 2026 returns from May 14 to 17 to the Moll de Pescadors de Palma with a program packed with gastronomy, live music, seaside tardeos and activities for the whole family. After the success of its first edition, the event is now established as one of the major gastronomic and cultural highlights of spring in Mallorca.
Organised by the Palma Fishermen’s Guild, the fair aims to promote the Mallorcan sardine, an iconic product from the Bay of Palma with great importance for the local fishing sector and the island’s gastronomy.
The Fira de la Sardina 2026 turns Moll de Pescadors into Palma’s ultimate seaside tardeo
One of the biggest attractions of this year’s edition will be the popular seafront tardeos, combining music, gastronomy and a festive atmosphere by the harbour.
Over three days, different DJs will provide the soundtrack for the fair’s afternoons and evenings with open-air sessions facing the Mediterranean Sea.

The Fira de la Sardina 2026 will also feature a family-friendly program with circus performances, storytelling sessions and entertainment at the Moll de Pescadors.

A gastronomic fair celebrating the Mallorcan sardine
The fair was created with the aim of bringing local sardines closer to both residents and visitors while strengthening their presence in Mallorcan restaurants.
The II Fira de la Sardina has been officially declared an event of municipal public interest by Palma City Council, recognising the social, cultural and economic impact of an initiative that connects the harbour with the local community.
According to Domingo Bonnin, senior patron of the Palma Fishermen’s Guild, the fair seeks to “generate real opportunities for the fishing sector, restaurants and local producers.”
