Port Adriano starts the year with the fifth edition of its photography competition, already consolidated both inside and outside Mallorca, with a growing number of participants. This event reflects the port’s commitment to culture and to carrying out activities beyond the summer season.
In this edition, the proposed theme is “The Movement”, a word which reflects today’s continuous evolution. The concept ranges from large and rapid movements to small steps which, in the long term, can be significant. The motifs that indicate movement can be very varied, presenting a great creative challenge.
Deadlines for the Port Adriano photo competition
Participants in the Port Adriano photo competition can submit their entries until 10 March 2024, free of charge. Each photographer can submit up to three photographs that meet a minimum quality standard. Once all the photos have been compiled, a selection of the finalists will be uploaded to the Port Adriano photography microsite.
A jury made up of the Port Adriano management, collaborating entities and experts in photographic and artistic art will select the winners and award extraordinary prizes, which include three prizes of 1,000 euros each for the three finalist photographs. In addition, each winner will receive a Photopills installation licence and a course given by the EDIB school.
