The Teatre Principal de Inca, directed by Miquel Ángel Raió, will be holding the new Incandescent festival on the 28th, 29th and 30th of December. A festival with light and image as the main protagonists. The main blocks of this festival will be the light and video installations and the shows and music of the invited DJs and VJs.
This festival goes far beyond Inca’s Teatre Principal, as it will reach different corners of the city, with renowned installations such as “Home”, by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, and “27,500 flickers”, by Lolo & Sosaku. Both will be installed in the Quarter General Luque and will be free to visit on any of the three days. In addition, there will be photocalls representative of the festival in different parts of the city where users will be able to have their photographs taken.
More Incandescent Inca
On the other hand, on the 30th of December and as the last day of the festival, two shows related to digital and multimedia art can be enjoyed at the Teatre Principal de Inca: “Birdie”, by Agrupación Señor Serrano, and “Jaleo is a crime”, by Los Voluble.
Finally, there will be performances by DJ/VJ(s) on the 29th of December, also in the Quarter General Luque. This activity does require a ticket, which can be purchased through the theatre’s website. The night will start at 18:00 and will feature renowned artists in the field of electronic and experimental music; oma totem & sol y serps (VJ), Noémi Büchi, PERARNAU IV live feat AVK/@AudioVisualKollective Live AV and the Mallorcan Jordà, with other artists to be confirmed.
The proposal of this musical night is possible thanks to the collaboration with the brand Mallorca Live Nights, of which Pau Forner, director of Marketing and Sponsorships, added at the press conference that it is a pleasure to be able to give a boost and be born hand in hand in this artistic project as it is Incandescent Inca.
