MajorDocs 2025 in Palma: dates, venues and full programme

The MajorDocs 2025 festival returns to Palma from 25 to 29 November with its most ambitious edition to date: more screenings, more critical thinking, more sound and more spaces dedicated to non-fiction cinema. The seventh edition of the festival champions a slow, reflective and artisanal approach to filmmaking, strengthening its focus on contemporary documentary and sound design as a creative language.

This year highlights two key figures:

Ben Rivers, Guest of Honour, who will give a masterclass and present his filmography.
Philippe Ciompi, one of today’s most influential sound designers, who will offer a masterclass dedicated to sound as a narrative tool.
