The Fira del Llibre de Palma 2026 will return to Plaça Espanya from May 29 to June 7, once again turning this central square in Palma into one of Mallorca’s main literary and cultural meeting points.
The 44th edition of the fair will feature 16 bookstores, alongside the institutional stands of the Ajuntament de Palma and the Consell de Mallorca, returning this year as one of the event’s main highlights.
The cultural event is organised by the Gremi de Llibreters de Mallorca and will offer more than 40 activities, including book presentations, author signings, workshops, storytelling sessions, concerts, and family activities.
Palma Book Fair 2026 returns to Plaça Espanya

For the second consecutive year, the fair will take place at Plaça Espanya, a central location that received an excellent response from both residents and visitors last year.
Palma’s Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Culture, Javier Bonet, highlighted during the presentation that the fair transforms Palma into “the capital of books” for more than a week, bringing culture and literature closer to all audiences.
