As every year, on the first Sunday in April, the municipality of Andratx dresses up to celebrate its emblematic Fira d’Andratx 2024. On this occasion, the edition takes on a special nuance as it commemorates its 40th anniversary. From the 5th to the 7th of April, Andritxols and visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a feast of activities ranging from agriculture and crafts to gastronomy and Mallorcan culture.
As part of this XL Fira d’Andratx, the first edition of FolkAndratx will be held, a local folklore festival organised in collaboration with the Aires d’Andratx group. This event will feature the participation of the Cors i Danses group from Granada and Doña Urraca from Zamora, promising a vibrant display of regional music and traditions.

On Sunday 7th, the streets of Andratx will come alive with local and visiting stalls displaying a wide variety of native animals, agricultural tools and rural machinery. In addition, there will be equestrian displays and an exhibition commemorating 40 years of the Fira, along with many other activities.
As usual, Saturday will be the day of the Ruta de la Tapa, while on Sunday the Mostra Gastronòmica will be held, in which outstanding local restaurateurs will take part, showcasing the culinary wealth of Andratx.
Friday, 5th April
19:00 h: Talk on the “Past, Present and Future of the Mountain Olive Grove” by Mr. Miquel Gual, president of Camp Mallorquí. Place: Andratx Town Hall Plenary Hall. There will be a tasting of Mallorcan D.O. olive oil and wine from the Ripoll winery.
Saturday, 6th April
- 12:00 to 13:30 h: Mostra de Pastoreig de Ca Pastor. Place: C/Son Lluís.
- 16:30 h: Carriage and Saddle Harness Competition. Place: C/Son Lluís.
- 18:00 h: Opening of FolkAndratx Festival 2024. Performance by national folklore groups in the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall of Andratx. Followed by a dance exhibition in Plaza España. In addition, inauguration of the exhibition “40 Years of Fira” in the Sala Plenos Ayuntamiento de Andratx.
- 20:00 h: XV Recorrido de la Tapa in Plaza España.
- 22:00 h: Giant screen for the broadcasting of the Final of the Copa del Rey between RCD Mallorca and Athletic Club de Bilbao in Plaza España. Performance by DJ Fernández after the match.
Sunday, 7th April
- 10:00 h: Craft Market in the gardens of the Town Hall of Andratx and adjacent streets. Acting for Climate Currents (Itinerant circuit). Show and exhibition of Pauma and Llatra in the Cloister of the Town Hall. Caricaturist Cristina Torbellina in the Town Hall marquee. Exhibition of local birds and breeds in the Town Hall Gardens. Exhibition of sheep from local livestock farmers in C/Son Bosch. Children’s activities in C/Son Bosch. Exhibition of Classic Riders in Paseo de Son Mas.
- 10:00 to 15:00 h: Circus Area with various activities.
- 10:30 h: Reception of Authorities.
- 11:00 h: FolkAndratx Festival 2024 at the Barba-roja roof terrace of the Town Hall of Andratx. Children’s Corner in C/Son Bosch with free activities. Children’s Play and Adventure Zone.
- 11:00 h: Workshop area with various activities.
- 11:30 h: Equestrian Exhibition in C/Son Lluís.
- 12:00 h: 7th Chainsaw Competition in Son Lluís Street.
- 14:00 h: 11th Gastronomic Day in Paseo de Son Mas.
- 17:00 h: “Tardeo” with live music and DJ in Paseo de Son Mas.
