The Beetlejuice House of Palmanyola: a terrifying Halloween

There are Halloween decorations, and then there is La Casa de Bitelchús in Palmanyola. Once again, Cristina and Paco are transforming the garden of their home into a huge horror scene, making it one of the most eagerly awaited Halloween events in Mallorca.

For several days, their private garden opens its doors to visitors who want to discover a display that grows and changes every year. Animatronic figures, lighting, special effects, sounds and different themed scenes are all part of a walk-through experience that combines horror, imagination and an incredible amount of hands-on work.

La Casa de Bitelchús takes visitors through a variety of themed settings featuring some of the classics of the horror genre. The Halloween display will be open for four days, coinciding with Halloween weekend and the All Saints’ Day public holiday:

Thursday, 29 October: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Friday, 30 October: 6:00 pm to midnight
Saturday, 31 October: 6:00 pm to 1:00 am
Sunday, 1 November: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Admission is free and visitors enter in groups on a first-come, first-served basis. For this reason, especially during the busiest hours, it may be advisable to arrive a little early.

A homemade Halloween display

Free admission and donations

Admission to La Casa de Bitelchús is free. However, visitors who would like to help this unique experience continue to grow will find a donation box at the entrance.

Donations help Cristina and Paco maintain the decorations, add new elements and continue preparing the display for future editions.
