Es Llombards will celebrate its 2026 Sant Domingo festivities from 30 July to 8 August, with ten days of activities combining tradition, culture, music and entertainment for all ages. The programme includes the opening proclamation, a correfoc fire run, open-air dances, theatre, children’s activities, food gatherings and one of the main new features of this year’s celebrations: the first Jaleo of Es Llombards.
Other eagerly awaited events include the Nit de Rock, the Flower Power Revival, the parade featuring the Dimoni des Llombards, the traditional Tremponada and the main feast day, which will bring the programme to a close on Saturday 8 August.

Thursday 30 July
7.00 pm. Start of the festivities
Raising of the flag above the church and ringing of the bells.
9.30 pm. Opening proclamation
Official opening of the Sant Domingo festivities with a proclamation delivered by Antoni Burguera Cabrer in Plaça des Pou.
This year’s proclamation will look back at Es Llombards television and what it meant to the village.
Friday 31 July
7.30 pm. Cultural walk marking 90 years of the Es Llombards school
A cultural tour led by Apol·lònia Martínez Nadal to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the school’s opening.
The meeting point will be Plaça de l’Església. The activity will finish at the school, where a small aperitif will be served.
8.30 pm. Burgers, beer and rock
Dinner and Nit de Rock in the courtyard of Ca ses Monges.
Live music will begin at 9.30 pm with:
- The Deaf Buffalos
- Out of Fase
- Black Honey
- Backdoors
Saturday 1 August
8.45 am. Litter collection and swim at Es Màrmols
Departure from outside the church. Places are limited to a maximum of 18 participants.

7.00 pm. Storytelling session
An activity led by the Dimonis de sa Cova des Fossar in the courtyard of Ca ses Monges.
10.00 pm. Correfoc
Fire run performed by the Dimonis de sa Cova des Fossar.
The parade will depart from Ses Escoles and the correfoc will take place in Plaça des Pou. Attendees are advised to follow the organisers’ safety instructions at all times.
11.00 pm. Flower Power Revival
A party in Plaça des Pou with DJs Titi and Joan Rigo and music from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best retro-inspired outfits.
Sunday 2 August
9.00 pm. Jo en sé + que tu, llombarder!
A team competition in Plaça des Pins.
The activity will have two versions:
- A junior category for children aged between 6 and 12.
- An adult category for participants over the age of 12.
Teams must be made up of three or four members. Registration will remain open until 1 August via the telephone number 606 743 127.
A maximum of four teams will be accepted in each category. Anyone who would like to take part but does not have a team can also contact the organisers.
Monday 3 August
6.15 pm. Parade of the Dimoni des Llombards and the caparrots
The Dimoni des Llombards and the caparrots will parade through the streets accompanied by the Xeremiers de Santanyí.
The parade will depart from Ca ses Monges and finish in Plaça des Pou.
Approximately 6.45 pm. Correguda de cintes and rompuda d’olles
Traditional games for younger children in Plaça des Pou.
10.00 pm. Theatre night
Performance of Nostalgic Weekend, directed by Jaume Pons Rigo, in the courtyard of Ses Escoles.
Tuesday 4 August
6.30 pm. Bicycle ride
A bicycle ride through the streets and country lanes of Es Llombards. Wearing a helmet is compulsory.
After the ride, participants can enjoy a pa amb oli dinner followed by Bingo Llombarder.
Tickets are available from the Sor Paciència Social Centre until 2 August, from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm.
Wednesday 5 August
6.00 pm. Truc tournament
A competition in Plaça des Pou with a maximum of 32 pairs.
Participants can register until Monday 3 August by sending the names of the pair to 606 743 127.
6.00 pm. Children’s show by Cucorba
Es Llombards will be one of the stops on the farewell tour of Cucorba, one of Mallorca’s best-known children’s entertainment groups.
The performance will take place in Plaça des Pou.
Thursday 6 August
6.00 pm. Water inflatables
A family activity in the courtyard of Ses Escoles. Participants are advised to bring swimwear, a towel and suitable footwear.
8.00 pm. Tribute to the village’s senior residents
The traditional tribute to the senior residents of Es Llombards will take place in Plaça des Pins.
Refreshments will be served during the event, which will also include a musical performance by Simal Duo.
Couples celebrating their golden wedding anniversary must inform the mayor’s representative in advance.
Friday 7 August
9.30 pm. 38th Tremponada
The traditional Tremponada will be held in the courtyard of Ses Escoles, followed by a performance by Orquestra Galatzó.
Tickets are available from the Sor Paciència Social Centre until 2 August, from 6.30 pm to 8.00 pm.
Saturday 8 August
10.00 am. Xeremiers parade and dance of the giants
A parade through the streets of Es Llombards.
11.00 am. Solemn Mass
Mass in honour of Sant Domingo de Guzmán, with the participation of Mn. Blai Bonet Rigo, a deacon in the parishes of Felanitx and a native of Santanyí.
12.00 noon. Correguda de joies
A traditional race in Plaça des Pins.
1.30 pm. Fideuà
A community lunch at the Civic Centre.
Tickets will be available from the Sor Paciència Social Centre during the times indicated by the organisers.
8.30 pm. First Jaleo of Es Llombards
One of the main new additions to the 2026 festivities will be the first Jaleo of Es Llombards, featuring horses, music and a lively festive atmosphere in Plaça des Pou.
After the Jaleo, the celebrations will continue with an open-air dance and closing party featuring Enrockats and DJ Polichy.
Registration and ticket sales
Registration for activities with limited capacity and the purchase of tickets must be completed according to the instructions provided for each event.
The proceeds from the raffle held during the Tremponada will be donated to the HOPE Mallorca Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Santanyí that supports vulnerable families.
