Sa Rua de Marratxí 2026 already has its official poster and once again confirms its role as the first major Carnival celebration in Mallorca. The municipality has unveiled the image that will represent this much-anticipated event, which will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, and which every year brings together thousands of people in the streets of Marratxí.

The presentation of the poster marks the starting signal for the Carnival calendar on the island and usually anticipates one of the events with the greatest following and participation at an island-wide level.

The winning work was created by Irene Puig Llabrés, a student at CEIP Costa i Llobera, and stood out for its creativity, use of colour and its ability to convey the festive spirit and identity of Sa Rua.
