This summer, the center of Palma becomes the stage for an exhibition on the Passeig del Born. It is the showcase of the winning photographs of the Audiovisual Contest for the Conservation of the Balearic Sea, MARE. Under the title “Significar” and until July 14, residents and visitors can enjoy an exhibition that brings us closer to the beauty and fragility of the sea through a dialogue between image and word. You can check this and other activities in our events section of our magazine.

Conservation of the Sea through Photography

MARE uses photography as a fundamental tool to raise awareness about sea conservation. The “Significar” exhibition presents the winning images of the 2023 edition of the contest, inviting visitors to interpret and reflect on the richness of our marine environment. With wordplay and humor, the exhibition seeks to foster greater participation in sea conservation.
