Calvià is preparing for its residents a new initiative to stimulate local commerce. Under the slogan ‘Calvià lo Vale’, Calvià Town Hall has launched a new campaign that will generate a significant economic impact of at least 350,000 euros. The campaign is designed to support local businesses and reward Calvià residents at the same time. Starting in November, a total of 17,500 discount vouchers will be on sale, available exclusively to people over the age of 16 who live in the municipality.
The Calvià Town Hall has earmarked 175,000 euros for this initiative, which will result in an economic impact of more than 350,000 euros. Each voucher will cost only 10 euros, but its real value is 20 euros. This means that each Calvià resident will be able to obtain up to four vouchers, allowing them to purchase goods in local shops worth a total of 80 euros, all for just 40 euros!
How do the Calvià discount vouchers work?
The ‘Calvià lo Vale’ campaign will be active during the whole month of November. The vouchers will be available for sale until 28th February, and can be redeemed at any participating shop until 31st March.
