Palma will host the 3rd Palma City Mototourism Trophy this Saturday, 22nd August, a challenge covering approximately 300 kilometres on roads open to traffic that will test participants’ strategy, orientation and navigation skills. The 3rd Palma City Mototourism Trophy 2026 will take place this Saturday, 22nd August, as part of the sixth edition of the Dark Iron Motard and the Balearic Islands Mototourism Championship.
The competition is organised by Club Media Milla and the Balearic Motorcycle Federation, with the support of Palma City Council through the Institut Municipal de l’Esport (IME).
Unlike a conventional race, the event takes the form of a recreational gymkhana in which participants must decide their own route in order to complete the required objectives.
When is the Palma City Mototourism Trophy 2026?

The third edition of the trophy will take place on Saturday, 22nd August 2026.
The start is scheduled for 6:00 pm from the Son Castelló industrial estate in Palma.
From there, participants will face a challenge lasting approximately seven hours along different roads open to traffic.
A route of around 300 kilometres across Mallorca
The 3rd Palma City Mototourism Trophy will cover approximately 300 kilometres.
However, there will be no single route that every rider must follow. Each participant will have to choose their own itinerary, using strategy, orientation and navigation to complete the challenge.
The aim will be to complete the required route while covering the fewest possible kilometres, meaning that planning will play a key role in the final result.
The competition will take place entirely on roads open to traffic, so participants must comply with normal traffic regulations at all times.
What is a mototourism event?
The format combines motorcycle riding with elements of navigation, orientation and strategy.
Riders do not simply compete to be the fastest. Instead, they must interpret the challenge, decide which route to take and optimise their journey in order to complete the required objectives while covering the shortest possible distance.
The Palma City Trophy forms part of the Balearic Islands Mototourism Championship and aims to promote this discipline across the islands.
The Palma City Trophy as part of Dark Iron Motard

The competition was presented on Wednesday, 19th August, in Plaça de Cort, with representatives from Palma City Council, the Balearic Motorcycle Federation and Club Media Milla.
Riders Vicky Figueroa and Gina Pérez also took part in the presentation, along with representatives from the event’s sponsoring companies.
