On 10 and 11 October 2026, Palma will once again become a large open-air stage with a new edition of Palma Circ. The festival will bring together a total of 25 local, national and international artists in a programme of free shows for all ages.

The sixth edition of Palma Circ will bring circus to different locations across the city, with performances combining acrobatics, juggling, contortion, dance, comedy, fire, light and technology. The shows will take place at plaça de les Columnes, plaça de Pere Garau and Ses Voltes.

When is Palma Circ 2026?

Palma Circ 2026 will take place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October at different locations throughout Palma.

All the shows included in the programme over these two days will be free and suitable for all ages, making the festival a great option for enjoying Palma’s cultural programme with the whole family during October.

Palma Circ 2026 at plaça de les Columnes

On Saturday 10 October, plaça de les Columnes will be one of the festival’s main stages. The programme will begin in the morning with three circus performances showcasing different disciplines and styles.

  • 11:00 am – Génesis
  • 12:00 pm – Jump y olé
  • 1:00 pm – Mongolia Legacy

The three performances will combine disciplines such as acrobatics, contortion, hula hoop, dance, comedy and humour, offering an insight into different approaches to contemporary circus.

Mongolia Legacy

One of the highlights of the day will be Mongolia Legacy, bringing a contemporary circus performance from Mongolia to Palma.

The show stands out for its high technical and artistic level and for the acclaim it has received from international cultural critics.

Circ de Nit: fire, light and movement at plaça de Pere Garau

Also on Saturday 10 October, the action will move to plaça de Pere Garau for one of the most spectacular performances in the programme: Circ de Nit – Vórtice, Fuego y Luz en Movimiento.

The show will feature an exceptional cast including Silvia Ponce, Alessio Paoletti, Lyubomir Vasilev, Mauro Saramé, Nohemi Requena, Paola Rocca, Pedro Lesser, Pilar Segura and Ricardo Nunes.

The performance will transform the square into a universe of fire, light and movement, combining acrobatics, juggling, music, fire and LED technology.

Ses Voltes hosts Circ Obert

On Sunday 11 October, Palma Circ will move to Ses Voltes, where one of the festival’s most special events will take place: Circ Obert, the School Circus Showcase.

From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, children and young people from different schools will share their own circus creations with the audience, showcasing their skills and talent on stage.

This initiative will help bring the world of circus closer to younger generations while providing young performers with a space to present their work to the public.

After Circ Obert, the Palma Circ programme will continue throughout Sunday with a selection of different performances:

  • 4:00 pm – Circular Circus
  • 5:00 pm – Soul of Art
  • 6:00 pm – Gran Hotel

Gran Hotel: a Mallorcan production

One of the afternoon’s highlights will be Gran Hotel, a Mallorcan production performed by Aitor Carpio, Alexandra Jane and Bohumil Valla.

The story is set in a hotel in the 1920s and combines humour and glamour with spectacular acrobatic performances.

The show will close the Palma Circ programme for the weekend, bringing two days dedicated to circus in different locations across the city to an end.

25 artists at a new edition of Palma Circ

The sixth edition of Palma Circ will feature 25 local, national and international artists. This year’s edition is coordinated by Kelly Laner, a circus artist born in Italy who has lived in Mallorca for many years.

Laner is part of the fifth generation of a family dedicated to the world of circus and has developed her career in circuses, theatres and international productions in Mallorca as well as in other parts of Spain and Europe.

Her work has included venues and companies such as Son Amar, Circ Alegria and Circ Mondao in the United Kingdom. She has also performed at the International Circus Festival of Latina in Italy and has taken part in musical productions by composer Frank Nimsgerm.

Alongside her career as a performer, Kelly Laner has developed her creative work as a circus director, including productions such as La lluna, presented at the fifth Festival de Circ de Palma.

A circus festival for all ages

Palma Circ champions circus as an art form capable of combining tradition, innovation, technical skill and spectacle. Through its different performances, the festival celebrates the legacy of a genre that continues to captivate audiences of all ages.

Palma Circ continues in December

The Palma Circ 2026 programme will return at the end of the year. On 12 and 13 December, the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza will host the show Elfs, el gran sopar de Nadal.

The performance will feature artists from Circ Stromboli, extending Palma’s circus programme into the Christmas season.
