Costa de la Calma celebrates its 2026 summer festivities on 28th and 29th August with open-air cinema, food, a neighbourhood dinner and live music. Plaça Las Palmeras will be the centre of the programme, which includes a concert by La Canción del Verano and sessions with DJ Sonic and DJ Charlie Eme.

The Costa de la Calma Festivities 2026 take place on the final weekend of August with two days designed to bring residents and visitors together through music, cinema and community activities.

The programme will be concentrated on Friday, 28th and Saturday, 29th August at Plaça Las Palmeras, the main venue for the celebrations.

The Associació de Veïns de Costa de la Calma is organising festivities that will begin with food and open-air cinema before continuing the following day with a sopar a la fresca, live music and DJ sessions.

Friday, 28th August

Plaça Las Palmeras

8:30 pm. Food Truck La Porota, with a food offering to get the festivities off to a tasty start.

9:30 pm to midnight. Open-air cinema with the film Moon, My Panda Friend, a family-friendly option for the first night of the festivities.

Saturday, 29th August: dinner and live music

The second day will feature the most musical part of the festivities.

9:00 pm. Sopar a la fresca, an open-air neighbourhood dinner where everyone can bring a dish to share. Drinks service will be available.

9:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Music session with DJ Sonic.

10:00 pm to 11:15 pm. Concert by La Canción del Verano.

11:15 pm to 1:00 am. Music session with DJ Charlie Eme.

La Canción del Verano takes centre stage on Saturday night

One of the highlights of the Costa de la Calma Festivities will arrive on Saturday at 10:00 pm with a performance by La Canción del Verano.

The concert will take place after the sopar a la fresca and the opening session with DJ Sonic.

After the band’s performance, DJ Charlie Eme will take over from 11:15 pm and keep the music going until 1:00 am.

Open-air cinema to start the festivities

Friday will have a particularly family-friendly atmosphere.

After the opening food offering from Food Truck La Porota at 8:30 pm, Plaça Las Palmeras will become an open-air cinema for a screening of Moon, My Panda Friend.

The screening will begin at 9:30 pm and is scheduled to run until midnight. The official programme presents the film as an option especially suited to families.

Two days of festivities in Costa de la Calma

The festivities therefore combine two different formats. Friday will focus mainly on food and cinema, while Saturday will centre on the neighbourhood dinner and live music.

The entire programme will take place at Plaça Las Palmeras in Costa de la Calma and is organised by the Associació de Veïns de Costa de la Calma.
