The boldest event for lovers of trash cinema returns to Palma. On Saturday, 6 December 2025, from 6:00 p.m. onwards, the Augusta Aficine cinemas will host a new edition of “Cutrecon On Tour”, the travelling showcase of the International Trash Film Festival of Madrid.
Following the success of last year’s edition, the event is back with three “so-bad-they’re-good” films, remastered in high definition and screened in the original version with Spanish subtitles.
What is Cutrecon On Tour
Cutrecon is Spain’s landmark festival dedicated to trash cinema, a format that blends fun, community spirit and the joyful celebration of the worst films ever made. Its travelling version, Cutrecon On Tour, transforms each screening into a collective experience filled with laughter, shouting, commentary and irreverent humour.
This year’s host will once again be Carlos Palencia, director of Cutrecon, who will travel to Palma to energise the session and turn it into a true celebration for film buffs.
Confirmed films for 2025
The theme for this year focuses on the worst action cinema, featuring delirious titles, impossible knock-offs of Rambo and Terminator, and scenes that defy description:
• Deadly Prey (1987)
Considered the best Rambo rip-off ever filmed, a masterpiece of absurdity and a fan favourite of the festival.
• Robotrix (1991)
A Hong Kong mash-up of Terminator and Robocop in which a female android fights crime, eliminates killers, practices martial arts and even indulges in unconventional passions. Violent, excessive and completely unhinged.
• Hard Ticket to Hawaii (1987) – in 4K
A cult classic starring bikini-clad women armed with bazookas. An essential gem of “so bad it’s good” cinema, presented in a newly remastered 4K version.
