VIII Palmadona Popular Race 2025 returns stronger than ever on March 9, establishing itself as a must-attend event in Palma’s sports calendar. Organized by the Palma City Council’s Municipal Sports Institute, this free and non-competitive race pays tribute to women and their role in sports.

Participate in the VIII Palmadona Popular Race 2025

This race is open to women and men of all ages. However, as in previous editions, women will be the main protagonists. Participants can join in different ways: running, walking, or practicing Nordic Walking.

Before the race, at 11:30 h, there will be a general warm-up led by coach Susana Sans. The course runs on asphalt and dirt, starting and finishing at Parque de la Riera, with the following route:

  • Parque de la Riera
  • Calle de Jesús
  • Avenida de Uruguay

Participants can choose to complete one lap (2.8 km) or two laps (4.6 km).

Ambassadors of the VIII Palmadona Popular Race 2025

This year, the event will feature three outstanding sports ambassadors:

  • Mavi García
  • Xisca Tous
  • Julia Murphy

Additionally, in commitment to environmental sustainability, there will be a drinking water station in the post-race area. Runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottles to refill.

All participants will receive:

  • Commemorative t-shirt
  • Medal upon finishing the race
  • A piece of fruit as refreshment

IV Palmadona Children’s Race 2025

To promote sports from an early age, Palmadona also hosts the IV Children’s Race, aimed at children aged 4 to 12 years.

  • 10:00 h – Green Races (11 to 12 years): 1,200 m
  • 10:10 h – Yellow Races (8 to 10 years): 600 m
  • 10:30 h – Blue Races (6 to 7 years): 600 m
  • 10:50 h – Red Races (4 to 5 years): 400 m (can run accompanied by an adult).

Palmadona 2025 Exhibitor Fair

Alongside the race, on Saturday, March 8, the Palmadona Exhibitor Fair will take place, dedicated to women, health, and sports.
