Mallorca will host the first edition of the Mallorca Chamber Music Festival from 3rd to 7th September 2026, a new event dedicated to chamber music featuring five concerts in Palma and Alaró. The programme includes works by composers such as Strauss, Dvorak, Brahms, Granados, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Mahler and Albéniz, as well as a special concert paying tribute to Ramon Llull.

The Mallorca Chamber Music Festival 2026 celebrates its first edition this September with five days of live music and a programme centred on some of the great works of the chamber music repertoire.

The first three concerts will take place on 3rd, 4th and 5th September in the Sala Mozart at the Auditòrium de Palma. On Sunday 6th, the festival will move to Ca n’Oleo for a concert paying tribute to Ramon Llull, before concluding on Monday 7th at the Teatre d’Alaró.

The festival has been created with the aim of bringing together in Mallorca young musicians developing their careers both in Spain and abroad. Its founder and artistic director is Mallorcan violinist Joan López de Soria.
