With the arrival of the Christmas festivities, running lovers in Palma are eager to take part in the 2023 edition of the San Silvestre, an emblematic race that will take place in the impressive setting of the Castell de Bellver.
San Silvestre de Palma: Timetable and location of the race
The Bellver Castle will once again be the star venue for this Christmas race par excellence. The event will have convenient services located in the castle car park to guarantee an unforgettable experience for all participants.
The collection of race bibs will be available on 23 and 24 December at TRIBE Run & Train, and on 26 December in the events area. For those who wish to do so in advance, they can do so at the TRIBE shop in the Polígono de Son Rossinyol on 23rd (16:00 – 20:00) and 24th December (10:00 – 14:00).

The route, which starts and ends in the Castell de Bellver car park, runs through the inner part of the castle forest. Two distances are offered: 10k (two laps of a 5km course) and 5k (one lap). Each athlete will be able to decide the distance during the race, independently of the registration.
The rules state that registration closes on 21 December at 23:59. It is therefore important to note that there will be no registration on the day of the race. Registration includes a chip integrated into the race bib and accident insurance, as well as a commemorative T-shirt for the first 700 registered runners.
The San Silvestre de Palma 2023 offers categories for all ages, from Under-18 to Master 3, as well as a special category for companies with a minimum of 5 entrants. The services include strategic refreshment stations along the route, a shuttle from the Son Dureta roundabout, cloakroom, and bicycle parking (without security, it is recommended to bring your own lock).
Trophies and prizes
The competition promises intense emotions with medals for all participants and trophies for the first absolute finishers in both distances (5k and 10k). In addition, a special prize will be awarded to the best classified company in the 5k category and a €200 shopping voucher for the best fancy dress costume.
