The cultural season is about to begin. The Teatre Principal de Palma has announced that tickets and season passes are now available for the highly anticipated 2025/2026 season, featuring a wide variety of theatre, music, dance, and opera.

Season passes available from August 27 entradas a la venta para Teatre Principal de Palma

Season passes will go on sale Wednesday, August 27, both at the box office and online. Pass holders will enjoy exclusive benefits such as early access to the best seats and discounts of up to 40%.

Individual tickets will be available from Monday, September 1 online, and from Wednesday, September 3 at the box office.

Pass options for the 25/26 season

The Teatre Principal offers five pass types designed for all audiences:

  • Extra: 5 or more shows with a 40% discount.
  • General: 3 or 4 shows with a 25% discount.
  • Duo: two tickets for two or more shows with a 25% discount.
  • Opera Season: two or more opera performances with a 20% discount.
  • Intergenerational Family Pass: two tickets for two or more family shows with a 25% discount.

A season filled with great names

The 2025/2026 programme will feature over 45 shows with some of the most renowned national and international artists, including Dario Grandinetti, Josep Maria Pou, Pere Arquillué, Ana Duato, Lluís Homar, Pep Tosar, Ana Rujas, and Rosa Renom.

Highlights from the opening weeks include:

  • Usted está aquí, a dramatized guided tour with Anna Berenguer (September 15 & 22).
  • Recital by pianist Muza Rubackyte, part of the Chopin Festival (September 17).
  • Tú me prometiste una historia de amor, a play by Helena Tornero (September 19).
  • Loneliness, a dance performance by Roberto G. Alonso (September 20).

Opera celebrates its 40th edition

One of the main attractions will be the 40th Opera Season. The Teatre Principal de Palma will open with Tosca by Puccini, in a production by Teatro Massimo of Palermo featuring Simón Orfila as Scarpia (October 22, 24 & 26).

The opera season continues with:

  • La corte de Faraón, a zarzuela directed by Emilio Sagi (January 10 & 11).
  • Der fliegende Holländer, Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman (February 18, 20 & 22).
  • Easter Concert (April 3).
  • La voix humaine, by Poulenc (April 24 & 25).
  • Rigoletto, by Verdi (June 17, 19 & 21).
