The Felanitx Music Week 2025 already has confirmed dates and a programme filled with musical proposals for all audiences. The event, which will take place between October and November, reaches its 49th edition, consolidating itself as one of the most important cultural events in the municipality and a reference in Mallorca’s musical calendar.
The festival will begin on Saturday, 25 October with a very special concert: Cap Pela, the renowned Mallorcan vocal group, will celebrate their 30th anniversary with an open-air performance on the steps of the Sant Miquel church, which will be transformed into a unique natural stage.
According to Catalina Soler, mayor and councillor for Culture, the programme of the 2025 Music Week is designed to include “different styles and age groups”, with concerts of jazz, choral music, band music, classical music, and family-friendly performances. Among the most notable events are the recital by Felanitx violinist Miquel Muñiz (13 November), the concert by the Felanitx Music Band and Do Natural at the Teatre Principal in Palma (23 November), and the Joves Talents (Young Talents) cycle, featuring local clarinettist Maria Rigo.
The event is organised in collaboration with the Felanitx Conservatory, whose director, Joan Oliver, has highlighted the importance of this event for the musical education of students and for the cultural life of the municipality. The official poster has also been presented, illustrated once again by Pere Bennàssar, who has been linking art and music through this initiative for more than two decades, this year drawing inspiration from Goya’s engravings.
