Sa Rua 2026 in Calvià: date, route and prizes for the Carnival

The eagerly awaited Sa Rua de Calvià 2026 now has a new date after being postponed due to last weekend’s bad weather. The big Carnival celebration will finally take place on Saturday, February 21, turning the town centre into a lively setting filled with costumes, troupes, floats and music.

The event, one of the most participatory in Calvià’s festive calendar, will once again bring together residents and visitors for a day designed for all ages, with a parade, prizes and a closing party with a DJ.

Sa Rua 2026 parade schedule and start time

The day will begin with the gathering of participants between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm at the Ses Quarterades car park, where troupes, floats and individual participants will be organised.

From 4:00 pm the street will be closed to traffic and the parade will start at 4:30 pm.

The parade will finish at the Calvià Town Hall car park, where the celebration will continue.

After the route, the celebration will continue with a full Carnival atmosphere:

Music with a DJ until 11:00 pm

Calvià Town Hall will award a total of €4,720 in prizes, distributed across the different categories:
