The town of Santanyí is getting ready to celebrate one of its most emblematic festivals: Sa Rua 2025. This carnival, which will take place on Saturday, February 22, starting at 4:00 PM, promises to be a day full of color, music, and fun for all attendees.

Schedule and Route of Sa Rua 2025 in Santanyí

The parade will begin at 4:00 PM. However, participants must gather between 3:15 PM and 3:50 PM at the following locations:

  • Floats and vehicle-based groups: These will be positioned on Carrer Guàrdia Civil (ascending towards Plaça Major).
  • Other participants: They will be located on Carrer Centre, following the instructions of the organizers.

Registration and Categories for Sa Rua 2025

To participate in the Sa Rua 2025 parade, registration must be completed between February 12 and February 20 via the form available on the Santanyí Town Hall website and its social media channels.

Participants will be assigned a number, which must be worn in a visible place throughout the parade, especially when passing in front of the jury.

The participation categories include:

  • Floats: Vehicles with four or more wheels (either motorized or animal-drawn) carrying participants, music, and themed decorations.
  • Groups and ensembles: Participants dressed in themed costumes as a group.
  • Individual or duo costumes: Participants dressed in original costumes.

Carnival Party at the Centre Jove Tent

After the parade, the celebration will continue at the Centre Jove tent, where music and entertainment will be provided by:
