The Santanyí Art Night 2023, Canal’Art, will be held on the night of Saturday 14th October. An event in which art can be enjoyed in the incomparable setting of the town, streets, houses and shops of Santanyí. Always with the aim of promoting the work of artists, the Department of Culture is organising the fifth edition of the Nit de l’Art de Santanyí (Santanyí Art Night). To this end, galleries, shops and associations are invited to participate and celebrate the Canal’Art 2023 event. From 18:00, Santanyí becomes a great showcase for contemporary art. But there will also be complementary activities such as music, dance and parades.
This fifth edition of the Santanyí Art Night will feature 32 exhibition spaces throughout the municipality. With dozens of artists taking part, the mayoress of Santanyí, Maria Pons, explains how the Town Hall aims to be a point of reference in the world of culture in Mallorca. “For one night, the town becomes a great showcase where you can see everything that is going on in the island’s culture, from the most classical to the most innovative”. The Town Council’s Department of Culture invites everyone to visit Canal’Art and enjoy a very special evening that will begin at 6:00 pm on Saturday the 14th of October.
Santanyí’s Art Night Programme 2023: Canal’Art
In addition to the exhibitions and displays spread across the 32 exhibition spaces, the programme of the Santanyí Art Night 2023 includes parallel activities for visitors to enjoy. Live music will enliven the streets and public spaces. There will also be live painting shows with Pato Conde, live sculpture by Marcos Torandell, dance shows and parades… Canal’Art thus consolidates this annual event that focuses on the culture of Mallorca and, especially, of the municipality of Santanyí.
