The fusion restaurant of the emblematic Hotel Cort has been created to offer an interesting culinary offer at any time of the day
Maria 5 Urban, located in the heart of Palma, is the continuation of the already acclaimed Maria 5 Beach (Camp de Mar). Recently inaugurated, this avant-garde restaurant offers a genuine gastronomic offer that uses the most traditional Japanese techniques, is inspired by Asian flavours and products and fuses them with other international products. This is how a unique menu emerges, whetting anyone’s appetite amidst the urban and cosmopolitan ambience offered by the distinguished Hotel Cort.
Maria 5 is run by the Treguer Collection Group, headed by Rafel Balaguer and Jaume Alomar. In the kitchen, German executive chef Gunnar Blischke and head chef Max Werner, who has spent time in the world’s top restaurants, share their extensive knowledge of Asian fusion cuisine.
At Maria 5 Urban, attention is paid to the smallest detail, starting with a carefully selected cellar of Mallorcan, national and international wines that pair perfectly with star dishes such as the salmon and brown butter sashimi.
The premise of Maria 5 Urban is to eat well in a sophisticated design space that combines the traditional with the original. Not forgetting the wonderful terrace with privileged views of the Town Hall and the legendary Olivo de Cort.
Cosmopolitan breakfast, with options ranging from the classic ensaimada to the delicious oriental Hamshuka; executive breakfasts for residents; weekly menu, with two starters, two mains and two desserts to choose from and drinks included. Quality products, signature cocktails and a service and attention that will not leave you indifferent. María 5 Urban, a new ‘place to be’ in Palma.
