The countdown is on for one of the city’s most emblematic discotheques to come back to life. On 3 August, the former Tito’s, located in the heart of the Paseo Marítimo, will reopen its doors with a new look and identity: Lío. This nightclub will bring back the shows of yesteryear, those that captivated personalities such as Charles Chaplin, Grace Kelly and Sean Connery. Lío aims to recover the splendour of the 50s and 60s of this iconic venue, which opened its doors a hundred years ago.

“Glamour, class and luxury come to Mallorca”, says Grupo Pachá, owner of the venue. The intention is to offer a modern cabaret show, with around thirty singers, dancers, acrobats and artists capable of lifting the audience with their “Simply the Best” show, “provocative, sexy and innovative”, according to the organisers.

Michelin-starred chef Andreu Genestra will be responsible for pairing the show with a Mediterranean menu, which “will evoke the essence of Mallorca in every mouthful”. After the Cabaret show, Lío will be transformed into a nightclub for the party to continue until the early hours of the morning with music of all genres.

Architects Gras Reynés have refurbished the building, which has a capacity for 300 diners and around 700 people in the nightclub. The Palma venue of Lío joins the three existing ones in Ibiza, Mykonos and London.
