A festival of literature and contemporary thought

La Coma was created as a space for dialogue around contemporary literature, with an approach that goes beyond book presentations.

The festival offers conversations, readings, workshops, performances and shows that explore the role of literature as a tool for interpreting reality.

2026 theme: “The Thread of the Narrative”

The central theme of this second edition is “The Thread of the Narrative”, a reflection on how individual and collective narratives are built.

La Coma raises key questions:

  • Is literature a continuous path running through time?
  • Or is it a network of multiple stories that intertwine?

The festival champions a diverse, open and plural literature that gives voice to non-hegemonic perspectives and explores themes such as:

  • Identity and memory
  • Desire and affection
  • Conflict and commitment
  • Reality and fiction
