Ironman 70.3 Alcúdia is warming up its engines after its presentation at Fitur 2024. A popular race that will take place on 11 May in Mallorca under the slogan “Awaken your Mediterranean soul”. As in previous editions, it will run through the most picturesque villages of the island with breathtaking views. The Ironman 70.3 in Alcúdia is one of the most outstanding races in the world. So much so that it has been a favourite among triathletes from all over the world for more than ten years. Its circuits are fast, it takes place on Saturday and gives athletes the opportunity to rest and explore the island on Sunday.
The Alcúdia Town Councillor for Tourism, Joan Mateu, emphasised how Mallorca “has dream roads for cycling, and hosts one of the most prestigious Ironman 70.3 events in the world”. Accompanied on many occasions by their families and friends, the athletes discover year after year an incredible route through the most picturesque villages of the island and unparalleled views.
The conditions offered by the island for this type of event are perfect: both the swimming and the cycling segments are done in a single lap, with a complete route, perfect for those who like speed in the case of the cycling segment. In the running segment there are 3 laps of the circuit, but the route runs within the municipality of Alcúdia, probably one of the points of the island that concentrates more cyclists per square metre in the high season of cycling tourism.

The Zafiro Ironman 70.3 Alcúdia-Mallorca 2024 has age group qualification places for women to the 2024 World Championship, which will take place on 14-15 December 2024 in Taupō, New Zealand. It also offers places to the VinFast Ironman 2024 World Championship, Nice, France, to the top 5 finishers in each age group.
