The Consell de Mallorca presents the second edition of the Hunting and Rural World Fair 2025, an event that combines tradition, nature, and rural culture in a program designed for the whole family. The fair will take place on September 13 and 14 at the Son Pardo Racetrack and will feature a wide range of exhibitors, animals, and activities related to hunting, rural life, and Mallorca’s biodiversity.

An event to preserve tradition and the environment

The President of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, and the Second Vice President and Minister of Environment, Rural Affairs, and Sports, Pedro Bestard, officially presented the fair’s program together with prominent representatives of the sector, such as Sebastià Perelló, Island Director of Hunting, and Gaspar Oliver, President of the Mallorca Institute of Equestrian Sports (IEHM).

During the presentation, a selection of animals was displayed, including horses and carriages, and it featured the presence of renowned professionals such as chef Koldo Royo and hunter and writer Javier Sagrera Azpillaga. According to Galmés, “hunting represents a living tradition and a connection with our rural world,” and the fair aims to highlight these traditions while promoting respect for the environment and biodiversity.

For his part, Bestard emphasized that the fair intends to be a meeting point for all Mallorcans interested in the island’s culture, nature, and hunting world.
