On the occasion of its move to a larger warehouse in the Polígono de Son Bugadelles, Absolut BBQ celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, May 8, bringing together restaurateurs, interior designers, hotel managers, other professionals from the hospitality sector and individuals interested in this type of culinary experience. The event, articulated around a dynamic showcooking, allowed attendees to discover the new 1,000 m² showroom, the largest in Mallorca, with more than 500 barbecues and outdoor kitchens available for immediate delivery.

During the day, attendees toured the various exhibition areas dedicated to the world of barbecue, where they discovered a careful selection of equipment, accessories, premium fuels and professional utensils, all with immediate availability. The specialized team detailed the characteristics of the leading brands, highlighting the advantage of having immediate stock available for sale.
The chef and manager of Absolut BBQ, Diego Estévez, accompanied by his team of specialists, carried out continuous demonstrations on the Napoleon, Ofyr, Big green Egg, Weber, Broil King and Tramontina barbecues, allowing guests such as the mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio Amengual, or the consuls of France, Czech Republic and Denmark, Michel Magnier, Dalibor Čiak and Borja Casasnovas, respectively, as well as a large representation of businessmen and professionals, to check first hand the quality and performance of each model with tastings of top quality meats. The gastronomic proposals were paired with drinks offered by Tintorera, which served a careful selection of wines and soft drinks, as well as imported beers such as Peroni.
“The best way to choose a barbecue is to see it in action,” explained Estévez. “I am happy for the success of the event and because for the first time Mallorca has a huge space of high quality barbecues, outdoor kitchens that treat the products well for demanding palates and, on top of that, with immediate delivery, for those who can’t wait,” the manager concluded.
