The Chinese New Year 2026 in Palma will be celebrated on Sunday, February 22 in the popular Plaça de Pere Garau, with a large festival organised by ACHINIB. The event will welcome the Year of the Horse, one of the most symbolic signs of the Chinese lunar calendar, in a celebration full of culture, tradition, gastronomy and shows for all audiences.

The Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival (春节), marks the beginning of the new lunar cycle and symbolises renewal, prosperity and new beginnings. In 2026 it will be dedicated to the Horse, a sign associated with values such as energy, freedom, strength, dynamism and good fortune.
