The Bons Illes Balears 2026 campaign now has an official start date. From 18 June, shoppers will be able to benefit from direct discounts at hundreds of stores across Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera thanks to a new edition of this initiative promoted by the Government of the Balearic Islands to support local commerce.
This year, the campaign reaches record figures, with 1,223 participating businesses across 46 municipalities and a total investment of €3.8 million, consolidating its position as one of the main support measures for small businesses throughout the islands.
Record Participation in Bons Illes Balears 2026

The campaign promoted by the Ministry of Business, Self-Employment and Energy continues to grow year after year. This edition includes 1,223 participating establishments, compared to 1,089 in the previous campaign.
In addition, 570 of the participating businesses are run by self-employed workers, representing nearly 47% of all establishments involved.
The objective is clear: to encourage shopping at local businesses, stimulate the local economy and strengthen the competitiveness of small companies across the Balearic Islands.
When Can the Bons Illes Balears Be Used?
The voucher redemption period will be:
- Start: 18 June 2026
- End: 31 July 2026
- Or until all vouchers are used up
The campaign plans to issue 380,000 discount vouchers distributed across all the islands.
How the Discount Vouchers Work
Consumers will be able to benefit from direct discounts of up to:
- €60 per person
To use the vouchers, customers must present:
- National ID card (DNI)
- Foreigner Identification Number (NIE)
- Passport
The process will be completed directly at the participating store at the time of purchase.
Each customer may use:
- Up to 3 vouchers in retail stores
- Up to 3 vouchers in food establishments
The Big New Feature for 2026: Food Store Vouchers
One of the main new features of this year’s campaign is the introduction of a dedicated voucher scheme for food retailers.
A total of 68 food-related businesses are participating, including:
- Specialist wine shops
- Butchers
- Bakeries
- Pastry shops
- Fruit and vegetable stores
This measure expands the scope of the campaign and allows discounts to be applied to everyday essential products.
Which Businesses Are Participating?
The sectors with the strongest presence in the campaign once again include:
- Fashion and accessories
- Footwear and leather goods
- Opticians
- Beauty and personal care
- Jewellery and fashion jewellery
The wide range of participating businesses will allow residents and visitors to take advantage of discounts on all kinds of purchases throughout the summer.
Mallorca Concentrates the Majority of Participating Businesses
By island, the distribution of participating establishments is as follows:
- Mallorca: 76.7%
- Menorca: 15.5%
- Ibiza: 4.8%
- Formentera: 1%
The municipalities with the highest participation include:
- Palma
- Manacor
- Ciutadella
- Maó
- Santanyí
- Pollença
- Ibiza Town
