In November, Sa Pobla once again becomes the epicentre of Mallorcan traditional music with the celebration of the XXX Trobada de Xeremiers i Fira de Lutiers 2025, an event that marks three decades of keeping one of the island’s most deeply rooted cultural expressions alive.
Declared a Festa d’Interès Cultural, this year’s edition pays tribute to the history, the artisan builders of traditional instruments, and especially to Antoni Torrens i Gost, a key figure in the xeremier movement in Mallorca.
Over three days, Sa Pobla will host concerts, professional meetings, popular performances, institutional acts and the traditional luthiers’ fair, bringing together master instrument makers from Mallorca and across the Catalan-speaking territories. A weekend filled with living heritage, collective celebration and intergenerational transmission.
