The Alternatilla Jazz Festival 2025 once again transforms Mallorca and the rest of the Balearic Islands into a musical territory in motion. Between November and December, the festival will bring together some of the most exciting names in European jazz, with France as the guest country, and will take concerts, masterclasses and creative encounters to more than a dozen locations.

This year, Alternatilla reaffirms its philosophy: a close, itinerant festival with its own identity and capable of uniting cultures through music. More than 80 artists, 16 concerts and numerous venues will take part in this edition, which promises to be one of the most diverse to date.

What is Alternatilla Jazz Festival 2025

Every autumn, Alternatilla transforms the islands into a musical map that blends tradition, modernity and experimentation. The festival travels from town to town, promoting cultural decentralisation and valuing the territory: historic theatres, auditoriums, cloisters, heritage spaces and unique venues.

In 2025 the guest country is France, home to one of Europe’s strongest jazz scenes. The line-up brings together established names, emerging talents and programming that encourages unrepeatable encounters between international, national and local musicians.
