In the early hours of August 2 to 3, 2025, Mallorca will once again experience one of its most beloved traditions: the Marxa des Güell a Lluc a Peu, which this year celebrates its 51st edition. Organized since 1974 by Grup Güell, this nighttime walk goes beyond sport: it is a symbol of community, memory, and spirituality, capable of bringing together thousands of people year after year.

More than just a walk

Under the motto “We walk for those here, for those who were, and for those who will come”, this annual event unites entire generations on a journey starting in Palma and passing through towns like Marratxí, Santa Maria, Consell, Binissalem, Lloseta, Selva, and Inca, until reaching the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana: the Sanctuary of Lluc.

This 2025, the Marxa pays tribute to the Mallorcan volunteers who helped during the DANA in Valencia, acknowledging their bravery and commitment to solidarity. A gesture that reinforces the spirit of dedication and fellowship that defines this unique walk.
