Wine lovers now have a new home in Mallorca: Tintorera Mallorca. On October 17, the inauguration of this new space took place, which promises to revolutionize the island’s wine scene with a focus on Italian wines in Mallorca. Located in Calvià, within the Son Bugadelles industrial estate, this new wine salon positions itself not only as a reference enoteca but also as a center for promoting Italian wine culture in Spain.
Tintorera Mallorca is presented as an exclusive venue combining a wide selection of Italian wines with gourmet cuisine and the organization of wine tastings and enology workshops. Its opening has drawn attention from both wine experts and enthusiasts, who will be able to enjoy over 200 references from the best Italian wines and other parts of the world, including Spain, France, Portugal, and the United States.
Why is Tintorera Mallorca different?
The space focuses not only on selling and tasting wines. Tintorera seeks to educate and guide wine lovers through the discovery of the secrets of Italy’s wine geography and biodiversity, something that, according to Josep Maria Vives, one of its founding partners, remains a largely unexplored subject in Spain. “Mallorca is the region with the highest consumption of Italian wine in the country, and we want to broaden that knowledge,” Vives said during the event.
Moreover, Tintorera Mallorca stands out for its unique architectural design, created by Massimo Parolin & Matteo Zorzenoni, providing visitors with a relaxed environment to enjoy wine in various settings, from tastings to more intimate gatherings on its comfortable sofas. The 600-square-meter space also features two impressive glass wine cellars, adding a touch of sophistication to the experience.
Italian wines in Mallorca and more
Although the main star is Italian wine, Tintorera also boasts an excellent selection of local wines and those from other countries. During the opening, attendees were able to taste some of the most prestigious labels from Tintorera’s catalog, discovering the richness of the various Italian denominations of origin and their influence on the island’s cuisine.
With its focus on quality, diversity, and personalized experiences, Tintorera Mallorca is establishing itself as a new temple for wine lovers in Mallorca.
