The solidarity race Mallorca Run Against Cancer 2024 will take place on October 27, 2024, at Parc del Mar, Palma, with the aim of raising funds for cancer research and raising awareness about the disease. Organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer in the Balearic Islands, the event offers two categories: the Open Race (8 km) and the Popular Walk (4 km), providing options for both runners and those who prefer a non-competitive walk.
Modalities and schedules
1. Open Race (8 km):
- Starts at 10:00 a.m. Participants must complete two laps of the circuit, with the start and finish line located at Avenida Antoni Maura.
- The registration fee is €16 until October 14, and €24 from October 15 onward. Registration is free for people with disabilities.
2. Popular Walk (4 km):
- This non-competitive walk starts at 11:30 a.m. and consists of one lap around the circuit.
- The registration fee is €8 until October 14 and €12 from October 15. Children under 12 and participants with disabilities can join for free.
Registrations and bib collection
Online registration for Mallorca Run Against Cancer 2024 is open until October 22. Participants can also register in person between October 23 and 26 at the Spanish Association Against Cancer office in Palma, or on the event day for the Popular Walk. Bibs and commemorative t-shirts can be collected from the office between October 23 and 26 or at the start line on race day.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the Open Race. The awards ceremony will take place at 11:15 a.m., before the start of the Popular Walk. This event is a great opportunity to support a meaningful cause while promoting physical activity and community involvement in a healthy, charitable environment.
