The dishes include meat and fish, traditional Mallorcan recipes, rice dishes, pasta and homemade desserts, with prices ranging from \u20ac25 to \u20ac38 per person. Please note that drinks are not included and advance reservations are required.<\/p>\n<p>Participating restaurants include:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Ara Restaurante<\/strong>, on the Palma-Manacor road, offering a \u20ac30 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Can Caragol<\/strong>, in Sa Pla\u00e7a, Algaida, with a \u20ac25 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Can Sant Caf\u00e8<\/strong>, also in Sa Pla\u00e7a, offering a \u20ac32 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Celler Bar Randa<\/strong>, in Randa, serving Mallorcan cuisine for \u20ac25.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Es 4 Vents<\/strong>, on the Palma-Manacor road, with a \u20ac35 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pepe Nero<\/strong>, in Sa Pla\u00e7a, Algaida, offering a \u20ac25 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sa Tanqueta de Randa<\/strong>, with a \u20ac35 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Santuari de Cura<\/strong>, on Puig de Randa, offering a \u20ac38 menu.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Restaurant Qanat \u2013 Finca Treurer<\/strong>, with a \u20ac38 menu and activities centred on extra virgin olive oil.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The menus feature a variety of dishes, including frit mallorqu\u00ed (traditional Mallorcan fried meat and vegetables), snails, roast suckling pig, cod, slow-cooked lamb, burrata, cannelloni and traditional desserts such as almond gat\u00f3. At Finca Treurer, visitors can also enjoy a tasting of extra virgin olive oil from the 2026 harvest.<\/p>\n<p>Qanat has specific dates and time slots for reservations during the festival. Some lunchtime bookings offer the chance to explore the estate and its olive grove, with a guided tour available for \u20ac20 per person. The programme also announces a prize draw for a box of six 500 ml bottles of Treurer extra virgin olive oil from the 2026 harvest, open to those who make a reservation.<\/p>\n<h2>Gastronomic evening in Algaida: Friday 16 October<\/h2>\n<p>The special programme continues on Friday 16 October with a gastronomic evening starting at 8.00 pm at Placeta des Sitjar.<\/p>\n<p>Restaurants, bakeries and wineries will come together to offer an experience focused on local produce, the flavours of Mallorca and the municipality\u2019s culinary heritage. It will be an opportunity to sample a variety of dishes in a lively, communal atmosphere accompanied by live music.<\/p>\n<p>Participating restaurants include Es 4 Vents, Cal Dimoni, Qanat, Can Caragol, Celler de Randa, Santuari de Cura, Can Sant and Pepe Nero. They will be joined by the bakeries Forn de Can Salem and Forn de sa Creu, and the wineries Can Majoral, OM, Nave Rover and Chateau Vino de la Isla. The Associaci\u00f3 Cultura Gastron\u00f2mica will also take part.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, every \u20ac10 spent at the gastronomic evening or the local produce fair will earn visitors an entry into a prize draw to win one of five baskets of local products.<\/p>\n<h2>Local produce fair: Saturday 17 October<\/h2>\n<p>On Saturday 17 October, coinciding with Algaida\u2019s regular Saturday fair, Placeta des Sitjar will host the local produce fair from 10.00 am.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will be able to discover and buy products made in the municipality, meet local producers and learn about the work behind the area\u2019s food and culinary traditions. The fair aims to showcase Algaida\u2019s local producers and the people who help preserve the municipality\u2019s identity and productive heritage.<\/p>\n<h2>Live cooking with chef Jos\u00e9 Cort\u00e9s<\/h2>\n<p>Saturday\u2019s programme will also include a live cooking demonstration from 11.00 am at Placeta des Sitjar. Chef Jos\u00e9 Cort\u00e9s from Restaurant Qanat will show how local ingredients can be transformed into flavourful dishes, with the support of the IGP Sobrassada de Mallorca, the DO Oli de Mallorca and the DOP Pla i Llevant.<\/p>\n<p>The demonstration will offer visitors the chance to discover new ways of working with locally sourced ingredients and learn more about some of Mallorca\u2019s most representative products.<\/p>\n<h2>An opportunity to discover Algaida\u2019s gastronomy<\/h2>\n<p>The 20th Mostra Gastron\u00f2mica d\u2019Algaida brings together special menus, live cooking and activities dedicated to local produce to celebrate the municipality\u2019s culinary heritage.
