Palma will host Mega Hyatlon on 3rd and 4th October 2026, a sporting competition combining six kilometres of running with six functional fitness stations. The event will take place at the Mateo Dom\u00ednguez Municipal Velodrome in Son Moix, with individual, doubles and relay categories. Registration is open until 27th September, with entry fees starting at \u20ac40 per participant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Mega Hyatlon Mallorca 2026<\/strong> will arrive in Palma on the first weekend of October with a challenge combining cardiovascular endurance, strength and strategy.<\/p>\n

Organised by MegaSport, the competition will introduce the H6 format to Spain for the first time, according to information reported by EFE. Participants will have to complete six one-kilometre running sections, interspersed with six functional fitness stations.<\/p>\n

The event is open to athletes aged 16 and over and offers different categories for those wishing to compete individually, in pairs or as part of a relay team.<\/p>\n

When and where is Mega Hyatlon 2026 taking place?<\/h2>\n

\"Mega<\/p>\n

Mega Hyatlon will take place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2026<\/strong> at the Mateo Dom\u00ednguez Municipal Velodrome, located within the Son Moix sports complex in Palma.<\/p>\n

The organisers have confirmed the dates and venue, although a detailed starting timetable for each category has not yet been published on their website.<\/p>\n

What is Mega Hyatlon? 6 km of running and six functional fitness stations<\/h2>\n

The H6 format combines six kilometres of running with six functional fitness challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Participants must run one kilometre before tackling each station. Once they have completed the exercise, they will run another kilometre before reaching the next challenge.<\/p>\n

The course announced by the organisers will follow this order:<\/p>\n

Mega Hyatlon 2026 course<\/h2>\n

The six stations are interspersed with one kilometre of running before each exercise.<\/p>\n

  1. 1 km run + SkiErg<\/strong>\n

    1,000 metres on a ski ergometer.<\/li>\n

  2. 1 km run + Sled Push<\/strong>\n

    50 metres of sled pushing.<\/li>\n

  3. 1 km run + Burpee Broad Jumps<\/strong>\n

    80 metres of burpees with broad jumps.<\/li>\n

  4. 1 km run + Row<\/strong>\n

    1,000 metres on a rowing machine.<\/li>\n

  5. 1 km run + Sandbag Lunges<\/strong>\n

    100 metres of lunges carrying a sandbag.<\/li>\n

  6. 1 km run + Wall Balls<\/strong>\n

    100 wall ball repetitions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    6 km + 6 stations<\/h2>\n

    For the weighted exercises, the organisers have established different loads depending on the category. The sled will weigh 102 kg for women and 152 kg for men; the sandbags will weigh 10 kg and 20 kg respectively, while the medicine balls will weigh 4 kg and 6 kg.<\/p>\n

    Mega Hyatlon categories: individual, doubles and relays<\/h2>\n

    The competition offers three ways to participate, with men’s, women’s and mixed classifications depending on the event.<\/p>\n

    Individual<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Solo participation, with men’s and women’s categories and classifications by age group.<\/p>\n

    Doubles<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Men’s, women’s or mixed pairs, also divided into age groups.<\/p>\n

    Relays<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Teams of three participants, competing in men’s, women’s or mixed categories.<\/p>\n

    The minimum age for participation is 16<\/strong>. Individual and doubles categories will include age groups for 16 to 29-year-olds, over-30s, over-40s and over-50s. Relay categories will be divided into under-40 and 40-and-over groups, calculated using the team’s average age.<\/p>\n

    Mega Hyatlon 2026 registration: prices and deadline<\/h2>\n

    Registration for Mega Hyatlon will remain open until Sunday, 27th September 2026 at 11:59 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The organisers will not accept late registrations or entries on the day of the competition.<\/p>\n

    Individual<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Per participant: \u20ac70.<\/p>\n

    Doubles<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u20ac50 per person \u00b7 \u20ac100 per team.<\/p>\n

    Relays<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \u20ac40 per person \u00b7 Three participants per team.<\/p>\n

    Prices published by the organisers. Booking fees are not included.<\/p>\n

    Registration includes a timing chip, an official event T-shirt, refreshments during the race and access to a recovery area at the finish line.<\/p>\n

    Regarding cancellations, a 50% refund is available between 21st and 27th September. No refunds will be issued from 28th September onwards.<\/p>\n

    Do you need to be an experienced athlete to participate?<\/h2>\n

    Mega Hyatlon is designed for both high-performance athletes and recreational competitors, with different participation formats suited to a range of fitness levels.<\/p>\n

    The challenge requires participants to combine running with functional exercises, so it involves much more than simply completing six kilometres. Competitors will need to manage their effort after each station and tackle the following running sections with accumulated fatigue.<\/p>\n
