On <strong>Saturday, 18 July<\/strong>, the streets of <strong>Calvi\u00e0 Vila<\/strong> will come alive with fire, music and tradition as the famous <strong>correfoc<\/strong> takes over the town, featuring the local <em>colles de dimonis<\/em> (fire-run groups) and a lively batucada percussion band.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the <strong>Ajuntament de Calvi\u00e0<\/strong>, the Nit de Foc will conclude with a lively music party in the Municipal Town Hall car park, where a DJ will keep the celebration going during one of the most anticipated summer nights in the municipality.<\/p>\n<h2>When is Nit de Foc Calvi\u00e0 2026?<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46740 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/nit-de-foc-calvia.webp\" alt=\"Nit de Foc Calvi\u00e0\" width=\"787\" height=\"620\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> Saturday, 18 July 2026.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Calvi\u00e0 Vila.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10:30 pm:<\/strong> Correfoc begins.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12:00 am:<\/strong> Correfoc ends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12:00 am \u2013 3:00 am:<\/strong> DJ party.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bar service:<\/strong> Available throughout the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Correfoc Route<\/h2>\n<p>The fire-run will pass through some of the most emblematic streets in the historic centre of Calvi\u00e0 Vila.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Esgl\u00e9sia<\/li>\n<li>Carrer Costeta de la M\u00fasica<\/li>\n<li>Carrer Major<\/li>\n<li>Pla\u00e7a de la Vila<\/li>\n<li>Carrer Ca&#8217;n Vich<\/li>\n<li>Carrer Batle Bujosa Sans<\/li>\n<li>Municipal Town Hall Car Park<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The procession will be accompanied by the <em>colles de dimonis<\/em>, pyrotechnic displays, batucada drummers and a festive atmosphere that attracts hundreds of residents and visitors every year.<\/p>\n<h2>Nit de Foc 2026 Programme<\/h2>\n<h3>10:30 pm \u2013 Correfoc Begins<\/h3>\n<p>The <em>colles de dimonis<\/em> will set off through the streets of Calvi\u00e0 Vila, delivering one of the most spectacular fire shows of the Sant Jaume festivities.<\/p>\n<h3>12:00 am \u2013 End of the Correfoc<\/h3>\n<p>The route will conclude at the Municipal Town Hall car park.<\/p>\n<h3>12:00 am \u2013 3:00 am \u2013 DJ Party<\/h3>\n<p>After the fire show, the celebration continues with a live DJ set and bar service until the early hours of the morning.<\/p>\n<h2>Safety Recommendations for the Correfoc<\/h2>\n<p>If you plan to join the correfoc and run beneath the fireworks, organisers recommend following these basic safety guidelines.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wear long-sleeved cotton clothing and long trousers.<\/li>\n<li>Use sturdy, closed-toe footwear.<\/li>\n<li>Protect your head with a hat or cap and your neck with a cotton scarf if possible.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid synthetic fabrics.<\/li>\n<li>Do not carry backpacks, handbags or other items that may restrict movement.<\/li>\n<li>Always follow the instructions of the organisers, Civil Protection and the Local Police.<\/li>\n<li>Do not block the route or interfere with the fire-running groups.<\/li>\n<li>If attending with children, stay close to them at all times and assess whether the event is suitable for their age.<\/li>\n<li>People with reduced mobility or sensitivity to smoke and loud noise are advised to watch from areas away from the route.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the correfoc, it is strictly forbidden to handle any pyrotechnic material or enter the route outside the designated areas.<\/p>\n<h2>One of the Highlights of the Sant Jaume Festivities<\/h2>\n<p>The Nit de Foc has become one of the largest and most eagerly awaited events of the <strong>Sant Jaume Festivities in Calvi\u00e0<\/strong>.
