After kicking off at the end of June, the celebrations are reaching their climax with a packed programme featuring the <strong>big weekend open-air parties<\/strong>, the popular <strong>80s Night<\/strong>, the traditional <strong>Sopar Mariner<\/strong> (Seafarers&#8217; Dinner), the <strong>maritime procession in honour of Our Lady of Mount Carmel<\/strong>, and a spectacular fireworks display that will bring the festivities to a memorable close.<\/p>\n<p>Organised by the <strong>Associaci\u00f3 Festes del Carme<\/strong> in collaboration with Capdepera Town Council, the celebrations will once again fill Cala Rajada harbour with music, tradition and a festive atmosphere until <strong>16 July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>When is the Cala Rajada Carme Festival 2026?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dates:<\/strong> Late June to 16 July 2026.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> Cala Rajada (Capdepera, Mallorca).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Admission:<\/strong> Most activities are free.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Big Weekend of the Cala Rajada Carme Festival<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-46697\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/fiestas-carme-cala-rajada.webp\" alt=\"Cala Rajada Carme Festival\" width=\"1707\" height=\"1262\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Thursday, 9 July<\/h3>\n<p>The programme begins with an afternoon packed with traditional activities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>6:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Traditional games for children and adults (sack races, ribbon races, water games and more).<\/li>\n<li>Followed by:\n<ul>\n<li>Greased Pole Challenge.<\/li>\n<li>42nd Harbour Swimming Crossing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>8:30 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Line dancing masterclass.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 37th Cala Rajada Summer Serenades in the gardens of Torre Cega.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Friday, 10 July<\/h3>\n<h3>80s Night Party<\/h3>\n<p>One of the most anticipated events of the festival.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>9:30 pm<\/strong>, Cala Rajada will travel back to the 1980s with the <strong>&#8220;Yo Fui a EGB&#8221;<\/strong> themed party featuring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Live concert by <strong>El Hombre de los 80<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>DJs:\n<ul>\n<li>Rober<\/li>\n<li>Javi Y\u00e1\u00f1ez<\/li>\n<li>Kiko Mu\u00f1oz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Anyone attending dressed in 1980s clothing or accessories will receive their first beer or soft drink free of charge.<\/p>\n<h3>Saturday, 11 July<\/h3>\n<h3>Grand Open-Air Party<\/h3>\n<p>The liveliest night of the entire festival.<\/p>\n<p>From <strong>10:30 pm<\/strong>, live performances by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brindis<\/li>\n<li>Baix&#8217;n&#8217;Nicotina<\/li>\n<li>Cirko<\/li>\n<li>Val Nou<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Every year this open-air party attracts hundreds of people to Cala Rajada.<\/p>\n<h2>The Celebrations Continue Until Carme Day<\/h2>\n<h3>Monday, 13 July<\/h3>\n<p>One of the festival&#8217;s most traditional evenings.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>8:30 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Sopar Mariner (Seafarers&#8217; Dinner) (popular price: \u20ac8).<\/li>\n<li>29th Habaneras Singing Festival.<\/li>\n<li>Free tasting of <em>Rom Cremat<\/em> prepared by Sandra Mallol.<\/li>\n<li>Raffle featuring an artwork by artist Laura Gonz\u00e1lez and many other prizes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Wednesday, 15 July<\/h3>\n<h3>Carmeo amb Banda<\/h3>\n<p>From <strong>9:00 pm<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DJ Mosson.<\/li>\n<li>Capdepera Concert Band.<\/li>\n<li>DJ Jaume Colomb\u00e0s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An evening designed for dancing and enjoying the festival with family and friends.<\/p>\n<h2>16 July: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Day<\/h2>\n<p>The festival&#8217;s main day keeps alive one of Mallorca&#8217;s most important maritime traditions.<\/p>\n<p>Programme:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Decorated Boats Competition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>7:45 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel from the church to the harbour.<\/li>\n<li><strong>8:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Solemn Mass.<\/li>\n<li>Maritime procession and floral tribute in memory of deceased fishermen.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Grand fireworks display.<\/li>\n<li><strong>11:00 pm<\/strong> \u2013 Closing concert by <strong>Desvetleries<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>One of Mallorca&#8217;s Most Traditional Seaside Festivals<\/h2>\n<p>The Cala Rajada Carme Festival is one of the highlights of the summer in the municipality of Capdepera.
