{"id":45969,"date":"2026-02-23T11:20:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T10:20:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/curses-serra-de-tramuntana-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T14:15:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T13:15:57","slug":"curses-serra-de-tramuntana-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/en\/curses-serra-de-tramuntana-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"The Serra de Tramuntana Races 2026 will bring together more than 2,700 participants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Curses Serra de Tramuntana<\/strong>, promoted by the <strong>Consell de Mallorca<\/strong>, return in 2026 with their thirteenth edition and a calendar that will stop at ten locations across the Serra, with the expectation of exceeding <strong>2,700 participants<\/strong> in a circuit designed for families to enjoy sport together.<\/p>\n<p>The programme, which combines physical activity, nature and heritage, maintains its inclusive format with <strong>routes adapted to all ages<\/strong>, ranging from 150-metre sections for the youngest participants to 4.5-kilometre races for adults.<\/p>\n<h2>A family circuit through the villages of the Serra<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-45966\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/curses-serra-tramuntana-mallorca.webp\" alt=\"El Consell arropa a los participantes de las Curses Serra de Tramuntana\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1066\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The 2026 calendar will visit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valldemossa \u2013 21 February<\/li>\n<li>Calvi\u00e0 (Galatz\u00f3) \u2013 7 March<\/li>\n<li>Mancor de la Vall \u2013 28 March<\/li>\n<li>Esporles \u2013 26 April<\/li>\n<li>Campanet (Fonts Ufanes) \u2013 24 May<\/li>\n<li>Banyalbufar \u2013 12 September<\/li>\n<li>Bunyola (Raixa) \u2013 3 October<\/li>\n<li>Pollen\u00e7a (Cala Sant Vicen\u00e7) \u2013 24 October<\/li>\n<li>Escorca (C\u00faber) \u2013 7 November<\/li>\n<li>Escorca (So n\u2019Amer refuge) \u2013 29 November<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Among this year\u2019s new features are <strong>new routes through the interior of the villages<\/strong> and the addition of <strong>guided cultural visits<\/strong> for participating families, such as the one held inside the Cartoixa de Valldemossa during the opening event.<\/p>\n<h2>Sport, nature and heritage<\/h2>\n<p>The president of the Consell de Mallorca, <strong>Lloren\u00e7 Galm\u00e9s<\/strong>, stressed that the aim of the circuit is \u201cto promote family sports and healthy habits, integrating physical activity and nature\u201d, while also highlighting the value of the heritage of the <strong>Serra de Tramuntana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the Minister for the Presidency, <strong>Toni Fuster<\/strong>, underlined the great popularity of the format, which <strong>is fully booked at every event<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>More than a decade of success<\/h2>\n<p>Active since 2013, the circuit has already brought together <strong>more than 33,000 runners<\/strong> and has become one of the most popular family-oriented sporting events in Mallorca.<\/p>\n<p>During the presentation, runners who took part in all the 2025 races were also recognised with a gift sponsored by the sportswear brand Tribe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Curses Serra de Tramuntana, promoted by the Consell de <a href=\"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/en\/curses-serra-de-tramuntana-2026\/\"> [&#8230;]<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":45966,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[136],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-45969","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
