The relationship between art and nature is as old as artistic creation itself. This essential connection is the core of the new major exhibition on view at CaixaForum Palma<\/strong> until 15 February 2026<\/strong>, a show that brings together nearly eighty works from the Centre Pompidou<\/strong> and offers an in-depth reflection on the bond between culture, science and the natural world.<\/p>\n

The exhibition traces a journey through 20th-century art and the early 21st century<\/strong>, exploring how different artists have observed, interpreted and transformed the forms of nature over more than a hundred years of contemporary creation.<\/p>\n

Organised around works from the Mus\u00e9e National d\u2019Art Moderne \u2013 Centre d\u2019Art Georges Pompidou<\/strong>, the exhibition features key figures such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Mir\u00f3, Le Corbusier, Raoul Hausmann, Jean Dubuffet, Georgia O\u2019Keeffe, Alvar Aalto and Neri Oxman<\/strong>, among many others.<\/p>\n

Painting, sculpture, photography, design and architecture engage in dialogue within a single space, offering a transversal and non-hierarchical view of contemporary art and its relationship with the natural environment.<\/p>\n

Art, nature and contemporary crisis<\/h2>\n

The exhibition takes on particular relevance in today\u2019s context, marked by climatic, ecological and territorial crises<\/strong>. In this scenario, nature\u2014as we know it\u2014appears under threat, making it necessary to rethink our relationship with the world on which we depend.<\/p>\n

Far from a didactic or chronological approach, the exhibition invites visitors to reconsider the links between humanity and nature<\/strong>, exploring how art has been\u2014and continues to be\u2014a tool for imagining the future through sensitivity, science and experimentation.<\/p>\n
