{"id":45396,"date":"2025-11-05T09:00:53","date_gmt":"2025-11-05T08:00:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/?p=45396"},"modified":"2025-11-04T10:43:22","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T09:43:22","slug":"contrallum-sineu-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/en\/contrallum-sineu-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Contrallum Sineu 2025: date, route and highlights of the Night of Lights and Heritage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The tenth edition of <strong>Contrallum Sineu 2025<\/strong>, the well-known <em>Night of Lights and Heritage<\/em>, will take place on <strong>Saturday, November 8<\/strong>, from <strong>7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.<\/strong>, turning the municipality in the Pla de Mallorca into a large night-time stage where light, art and historical memory come together in a unique cultural route.<\/p>\n<p>The event, created in 2016, has become one of the most anticipated cultural dates of the Mallorcan autumn, attracting hundreds of visitors every year who walk through the streets in darkness, guided only by light installations, live music, dance, artistic performances and heritage spaces open to the public.<\/p>\n<h2>A route that changes every year<\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_45392\" style=\"width: 1410px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-45392\" class=\"size-full wp-image-45392\" src=\"https:\/\/mallorcacaprice.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/contrallum-2025-en-sineu-mallorca.webp\" alt=\"contrallum 2025 in sineu mallorca\" width=\"1400\" height=\"1000\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-45392\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: Contrallum.org<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In this special 10th-anniversary edition, <strong>Contrallum 2025 will premiere a new route<\/strong>, running through the market area and its surroundings, a space barely explored by the project until now. <strong>Eleven points of the town<\/strong> will be illuminated, each transformed into a different artistic intervention, created in collaboration with residents, schools, associations and local volunteers.<\/p>\n<p>One of the featured names this year will be <strong>Toni Flux\u00e0<\/strong>, multidisciplinary artist, ceramist and musician, who will design one of the light installations along the route.<\/p>\n<p>As in every edition, the project will also involve the <strong>CEIP Rodamilans, IES Sineu and CIFP Joan Taix (sa Pobla)<\/strong>, as well as cultural associations, craftspeople, the municipal library and dozens of volunteers who make possible this event, widely recognised for its community-based spirit.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the visual side, the route will include <strong>music, dance and live performances<\/strong>, turning the town into an open-air cultural space.<\/p>\n<h2>Contrallum Sineu 2025 \u00b7 Practical information<\/h2>\n<p>\ud83d\udccd <strong>Location<\/strong>: Historic centre and market area of Sineu<br \/>\n\ud83d\udcc5 <strong>Date<\/strong>: Saturday, November 8, 2025<br \/>\n\u23f0 <strong>Time<\/strong>: 7:00 p.m. \u2013 10:00 p.m.<br \/>\n\ud83d\udca1 <strong>Access<\/strong>: free event, no booking required<br \/>\n\ud83d\udc63 <strong>Format<\/strong>: outdoor walking route<br \/>\n\ud83c\udfb6 <strong>Content<\/strong>: light installations, music, dance and heritage<\/p>\n<h2>An event that promotes light, silence and civility<\/h2>\n<p>The organisers remind attendees that Contrallum is not a mass event, but <strong>a sensory experience that respects the urban environment<\/strong>.
