Under the title <em data-start=\"442\" data-end=\"480\">Measuring Geography: New Territories<\/em>, the show opens on <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"533\">September 5, 2025, at 7:00 pm<\/strong> at the <strong data-start=\"541\" data-end=\"593\">Centre Multidisciplinari s\u2019Abeurador in Santany\u00ed<\/strong> and will run until <strong data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"635\">September 27, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"640\" data-end=\"684\">Art as a tool to understand the present<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"1085\">Curated by <strong data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"722\">Esmeralda G\u00f3mez Galera<\/strong> and organized by <strong data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"760\">Es Baluard Museu<\/strong>, the exhibition brings together three distinctive voices: <strong data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"869\">Juli\u00e0 Panad\u00e8s, Laia Ventayol, and Mar Guerrero<\/strong>. Through different artistic approaches, they open a dialogue between geography, memory, and territory at a time of global uncertainty\u2014proving that art can serve as a means to explore new ways of relating to space.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1138\">Three visions, three ways to measure geography<\/h2>\n<ul data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1926\">\n<li data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1382\">\n<p data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1382\"><strong data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1159\">Juli\u00e0 Panad\u00e8s<\/strong> transforms the debris of the Anthropocene into fragile, totemic sculptures. Built from remnants found on beaches, his works poetically reflect our environmental footprint and the delicate balance we maintain with nature.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1384\" data-end=\"1645\">\n<p data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1645\"><strong data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1403\">Laia Ventayol<\/strong> works with action and collaboration, linking body, memory, and landscape. Her projects explore water-related practices and traditions, evoking ancestral connections and the intuitive search for underground wells, much like ancient dowsers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1647\" data-end=\"1926\">\n<p data-start=\"1649\" data-end=\"1926\"><strong data-start=\"1649\" data-end=\"1665\">Mar Guerrero<\/strong> navigates the intersection of art and astronomy. Her installations trace spheres and celestial maps in inhospitable landscapes, creating symbolic habitats and posing questions about the unknown\u2014as though she were inverting the telescope to see the invisible.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1928\" data-end=\"1970\">An invitation to imagine other worlds<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2311\">The exhibition draws inspiration from Eratosthenes, who calculated the Earth\u2019s circumference more than 2,000 years ago by observing shadows during the solstice. Similarly, <em data-start=\"2143\" data-end=\"2181\">Measuring Geography: New Territories<\/em> uses art as an instrument to redraw maps, recognize shifting landscapes, and imagine alternative ways of inhabiting our planet.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2313\" data-end=\"2354\">A must-see exhibition this September<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2355\" data-end=\"2704\">The Exhibition Measuring Geography New Territories\u00a0is more than an art showcase; it is an invitation to reflect on our place in the world and the way we envision the unknown.
