The Gran Premi de Manacor 2025<\/strong> now has a date: next Sunday, June 15<\/strong>, the Hip\u00f2drom de Manacor<\/strong> will host the 67th edition<\/strong> of one of the most iconic harness races in the Balearic Islands<\/strong>. Organized by the Consell de Mallorca<\/strong> and the Institut de l\u2019Esport H\u00edpic de Mallorca (IEHM)<\/strong>, this event has become a must-attend date for equestrian sports enthusiasts on the island.<\/p>\n

An event with history and tradition<\/h2>\n

The official presentation of the poster and the drawing of the bib numbers marked the beginning of the countdown to a day that promises excitement, speed, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Second Vice President and Councillor for Environment, Rural Affairs and Sports, Pedro Bestard<\/strong>, emphasized that harness racing in the Balearics is “experiencing a good moment” thanks to institutional support, which translates into more races, greater investment, and more visibility<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In fact, in 2025, the IEHM has increased its budget by almost 19%, allowing for 50 new races at the Manacor racetrack and 28 at Son Pardo<\/strong>, according to Bestard.<\/p>\n
