The Fira del Caragol Sant Jordi 2025<\/strong> will take place on Sunday, May 18<\/strong>, and this year it will do so for a very special reason: the 25th anniversary<\/strong> of its founding. Declared of municipal interest and established as one of the most important festive and gastronomic events in Palma<\/strong>, this fair will pay tribute to the snail<\/strong>, one of the main staples of Mallorcan cuisine.<\/p>\n

During this unique day in Sant Jordi and Pla de Sant Jordi<\/strong>, locals and visitors alike will enjoy a full program of activities that blend tradition, gastronomy, crafts, and folk culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A fair with local flavor<\/h2>\n

The Fira del Caragol<\/strong> was born with the aim of promoting local gastronomy<\/strong> and giving visibility to local producers. Today, it has become a large-scale event that brings together both Mallorcan snail farms<\/strong> and small businesses and organizations from the primary sector.<\/p>\n

In addition to snails, visitors will be able to taste other traditional products from the Balearic Islands such as cheeses, oils, wines, cold cuts, sobrassada, panades, cocarrois<\/strong>, and organic preparations, all accompanied by a festive atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Crafts, music and activities for all ages<\/h2>\n

Beyond its gastronomic essence, the fair also offers a representative display of local craftsmanship<\/strong> and Mallorcan popular culture<\/strong>. This year, several tents and municipal services will be set up, along with a play area and children\u2019s activities organized by EMT Palma, which will also bring a hydrogen bus<\/strong> for curious minds to explore from the inside.<\/p>\n

The fair will also feature the participation of the Associaci\u00f3 de Cuiners Afincats a les Illes Balears (ASCAIB)<\/strong>, as well as Sant Jordi\u2019s neighborhood associations, ensuring a varied and high-quality culinary offering.<\/p>\n
