This first edition of a trail running race will cover some of the most spectacular sections of the GR-221, ending in Peguera. Over 500 participants have already confirmed their attendance at this event, which launches with the goal of becoming a key date on the national and international trail running calendar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"1091\">Organized by <strong data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"739\">Elitechip<\/strong>, with the support of the <strong data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"778\">Balearic Government<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"815\">Mallorca Tourism Foundation<\/strong>, and the town halls of <strong data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"882\">Calvi\u00e0, Valldemossa, Andratx and Pollen\u00e7a<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"933\">Travessa Mallorca Serra de Tramuntana 2025<\/strong> offers four distances designed for different types of runners. All routes share the same finish line: the iconic <strong data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1090\">Pla\u00e7a de Tor\u00e0, in Peguera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1140\">Four routes through the heart of the Serra<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1142\" data-end=\"1612\">The main route, the <strong data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1236\">TMST \u2013 Travessa Mallorca Serra de Tramuntana (120 km, D+4900 m)<\/strong>, will start from the Pla\u00e7a de Pollen\u00e7a on Friday, April 11 at 8:00 p.m. This queen stage will cross the Serra de Tramuntana from north to southwest, following the GR-221 trail, also known as the <em data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"1459\">Ruta de Pedra en Sec<\/em>. It can be run solo or in relay teams (2 to 4 runners) and will feature two staggered starts depending on runners\u2019 pace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1614\" data-end=\"1674\">On Saturday, April 12, the remaining distances will take place:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"2121\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"1818\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1818\"><strong data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1723\">MTMST \u2013 Half Travessa (72 km, D+3000 m):<\/strong> start at 6:30 a.m. from the Port of S\u00f3ller, with a 14h30 time limit to complete the course.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1819\" data-end=\"1957\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"1957\"><strong data-start=\"1821\" data-end=\"1866\">MTM \u2013 Travessa Marathon (47 km, D+1500 m):<\/strong> start at 10:00 a.m. from Valldemossa, featuring a technical and demanding trail along the GR-221.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"2121\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1960\" data-end=\"2121\"><strong data-start=\"1960\" data-end=\"2011\">MMTM \u2013 Half Marathon Travessa (23 km, D+650 m):<\/strong> start at 12:00 p.m. from Coll de sa Gramola, ideal for runners new to the world of trail running.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2123\" data-end=\"2152\">More than just a race<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2154\" data-end=\"2573\">The <strong data-start=\"2157\" data-end=\"2203\">Travessa Mallorca Serra de Tramuntana 2025<\/strong> is born with a clear vision for the future. Beyond the sporting challenge, the race aims to highlight the natural, historical, and cultural heritage of the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a <strong data-start=\"2384\" data-end=\"2420\">UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>. The route passes through iconic places like S\u00f3ller, Estellencs, Valldemossa and Andratx, in a tribute to the beauty and diversity of this mountain range.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2575\" data-end=\"2870\">The organization also promotes sustainability, the revitalization of the local economy, and the involvement of the associative and tourism sectors. The race is supported by institutions such as the <strong data-start=\"2770\" data-end=\"2813\">Balearic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"2819\" data-end=\"2869\">Hotel Association of Peguera and Cala Fornells<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2872\" data-end=\"2913\">Travessa Mallorca 2025<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2915\" data-end=\"3327\">With over 500 runners already signed up for its first edition, the <strong data-start=\"2979\" data-end=\"3025\">Travessa Mallorca Serra de Tramuntana 2025<\/strong> positions itself as a new gem on the trail running calendar.
