Organised by the Levantamos el C.IN.E. Association, in collaboration with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ajsineu.net\/ca\">Sineu Town Council<\/a><\/strong>, the festival offers a diverse programme featuring visual theatre, circus, dance, and object theatre.<\/p>\n<h2>2024 Ciclop Festival programme<\/h2>\n<p>The festival boasts a varied selection of performances. This year\u2019s highlights include the participation of circus artist <strong>Manolo Alc\u00e1ntara<\/strong>, winner of the 2021 National Circus Award, who will present his acclaimed show <em>Ma\u00f1a<\/em>. Meanwhile, the local programme is headlined by the company <strong>Dados<\/strong> with their play <em>Oficios Olvidados<\/em>, and <strong>La Mec\u00e1nica<\/strong>, who will present the immersive show <em>Odiseas<\/em>, a reflection on technology and identity in an intergenerational context.<\/p>\n<h2>Ciclop PRO and sustainability<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ciclop PRO<\/strong> also returns with its professional workshops, this year focusing on the use of public space as a stage. These sessions will be curated by the collectives <strong>G\u00fcilis<\/strong> and <strong>Bald\u00edo<\/strong>, who will explore the relationship between art and urban space.<\/p>\n<p>The festival aligns with sustainability strategies, maintaining its commitment to <strong>Plastic Free Balearics<\/strong> and promoting environmentally friendly practices.<\/p>\n<h2>An international gathering<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>IX Ciclop Festival<\/strong> in Sineu has established itself as a platform for both emerging and established artists, blending tradition and innovation in the performing arts. The event is supported by local and international institutions, including the Consell de Mallorca and the Institute of Balearic Studies.
