The Portocolom Triathlon 2024, scheduled for 14 April 2024, is approaching. A renowned international event that attracts competitors from 22 countries to the island to compete in the 55.5 and 111 kilometre races, comprising swimming, cycling and running disciplines. The 600 bibs available for the race have already sold out, reflecting the huge interest in the sporting event.<\/p>\n

Of the participants, almost 30 per cent come from Germany, followed by the British, who make up 7 per cent of the total. In terms of gender, women make up 21% of the total entries, which is a record for female participation in this year’s Portocolom Triathlon 2024.<\/p>\n

Some of the stars who will be competing in the event are Germany’s Lukas Schn\u00f6dewind, Belgium’s Vincent Van de Walle and Switzerland’s Lorenzo Delco. National athletes include Miguel Fern\u00e1ndez Mini\u00f1o, Alberto Parrilla, Daniel Esbr\u00ed and Pere Llad\u00f3, among others. In addition to women such as the Belgian Alexandra Tondeur, the German Anja Fachbach and the Dutch Claudia Striekwold.<\/p>\n
